Site 117

This tent site is located at the bottom of Read loop.  It is fairly flat and level through the campsite area.  There is privacy to the right and rear.   Read Bathhouse is nearby.  Military fencing is partially visible beyond the common area.

First Landing Camping Site 117

Campsite 117 has a small parking in the front probably enough space for 2 smaller vehicles.  It has an extremely large campsite area to the rear with lot of tree and vegetation cover overhead.   It is a nice big spot for spreading out while camping.

The camp site for Site 117 is approximately 30 feet in length x 20 feet wide, not including surrounding common area. This is a tent-specific site so it does not have water and electric hookups available. However, water spigots are located throughout the campground. Restrooms and showers are available at the bathhouse. A maximum of 6 guests can camp here. Pets must be kept on leashes no longer than 6 feet in length. Like other sites, the campfire area includes a picnic table, as well as a fire ring with grate. You can find some tips on what you might want to bring on your camping trip here
